Use of cookies

Our websites use cookies. Cookies are text files that are filed and saved on a computer system via a web browser. Many websites and servers use cookies.

Many cookies contain a so-called cookie ID, i.e. a unique identifier. It consists of a character string through which websites and servers can be assigned to the specific web browser in which the cookie was stored. This enables the websites and servers visited to distinguish the individual browser of the data subject from other web browsers that contain other cookies. A specific web browser can be recognized and identified via the unique cookie ID.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed.

If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

Google Analytics and Google Remarketing

This website uses Google Analytics and Google Remarketing. These are services of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The IP address is then shortened by the last three digits by Google, so it is no longer possible to clearly assign the IP address. Google observes the data protection provisions of the US Safe Harbor Agreement and is registered with the US Department of Commerce’s Safe Harbor program. Under no circumstances will Google associate your IP address with other Google data, but will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for the website operator and to provide other information related to website activity and internet usage to provide services. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if required to do so by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, serve ads on websites across the internet. Third parties, including Google, use stored cookies to serve ads based on a user’s previous visits to this website.

As part of the agreement that we have concluded with Google Inc., Google uses the information collected to evaluate website usage and website activity and provides services related to internet usage. Our legitimate interest in data processing also lies in these purposes. The data sent by us and linked to cookies, user IDs (e.g. user ID) or advertising IDs are automatically deleted after 14 months. Data that has reached the end of its retention period is automatically deleted once a month.

You can object to the collection and storage of data at any time with effect for the future. You have the option of preventing the storage of cookies on your device by making the appropriate settings in your browser. There is no guarantee that you will be able to access all functions of this website without restrictions if your browser does not accept cookies.

You can also use a browser plug-in to prevent the information collected by cookies (including your IP address) from being sent to Google Inc. and used by Google Inc. The following link takes you to the corresponding plugin: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

Alternatively, by clicking on this link (deactivate Google Analytics), you prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about you within this website. By clicking on the link above, you download an “opt-out cookie”. Your browser must therefore generally allow the storage of cookies. If you delete your cookies regularly, you will need to click the link again each time you visit this website.

However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

We also use Google Analytics to evaluate data from AdWords and the double-click cookie for statistical purposes. If you do not want this, you can deactivate this via the Ads Preferences Manager (http://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/?hl=en). Google Site Search (Google AJAX Search API)

Our websites use Google AJAX Search API using Java Script code. When using the search field on this website, data is passed on to Google; Google’s data protection regulations apply (https://www.google.com/intl/en_en/policies/privacy/). To prevent the Java Script code used from being executed, you can install a Java Script blocker (e.g. www.noscript.net).

Google Web Fonts

This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display text and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to the Google servers. This gives Google knowledge that our website was accessed via your IP address. Google Web Fonts are used in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offering. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.

You can find more information about Google Web Fonts at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
